MINT   Cards hoarded by Dragons & never touched by human hands - generally still in package. Or; a perfect card in every way - unplayed, good print, well-centered.
 NEAR MINT  Cards gently protected by Elves.... generally straight from package and into plastic sleeves or binder. A card that has been unplayed, has good print and is well-centered.
 FINE - VERY FINE  Cards handled by Humans - lightly played. Faces will be clean, any wear should be hard to detect unless examining closely, and generally on the edges.
 GOOD  Cards carried about by Dwarves. Moderate to heavy play, perhaps some face scuffing and noticeable whitening on the edges. Generally playable only in a concealable plastic sleeve.
 POOR  Cards used by Trolls to wipe thier bottoms. Is heavily played with heavy edge wear, bad scuffing, or bends/creases/tears. ONLY playable in a concealable plastic sleeve.
